have been eating alot since last week. its my farewell meals. other than the jap meal with my mgrs n colls on tues, had chinese food at 老北京 at ps on wed. the food was ok but felt cheated by the peking duck. $48 for the whole duck but juz a few slices leh! moreover, the skin comes with the meat n the skin was very little. usually for peking duck, they would slice the skin for you. den cook the meat and bones one. this one no lor. i din like the duck. this meal was treated by the gers at csq. thank you~
had my farewell with fes colls at bambu, an indonesian rest, on thurs. this time round i treated them. this is the culture of fes. if one leaves the coy cos of better prospect, the person will have to treat the rest. it is a happy thing. i dun mind treating them. haa~ i always like the food there. its nice, the price was norm. not too high. the durian cum glutinous rice was superb! it made me craved for durian till now........ arrghhh~
thurs was my last day at work. i still worked n i really meant working leh. normally on the last day, people dun work already. wat they do was parade around, saying bye bye, taking pics. i did those also lar. but onie to a few people onie. i am not really close to the rest, especially those doing residential thingy. was trying very hard to clear as much as i could so that my coll wont have to follow up too much. poor thing got to take over my job suddenly. she was scared that she might not be able to do it. anyway, wrote a farewell email to everyone i know. was quite skeptical at 1st cos i dunno wat to write but just drop a few lines lor.
i m looking forward to my new job tomorrow. whether it is gd or bad, at least it is a brandnew start for me. cheers to a better tomorrow a better me!!!
